CANDIDATE DUTIES:

• To share the inpatient care of acutely ill respiratory patients.
• To provide new and follow up out-patient clinics including suspected lung cancer patients.
• To provide non-invasive ventilation services.
• To take part in the integrated respiratory medicine consultant rota.
• To provide bronchoscopy services.
• To provide active role in lung MDT for lung cancer patients.
• To contribute to develop sleep service.
• Contribute to audits and ongoing research activity.
• Teaching, supervision and development of Junior medical and non-medical staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MBBS / MBChB / MD or equivalent.
• Speciality training completed.
• Minimum 7 years full time post graduate experience.
• Minimum 2 years of continuous experience in Respiratory.
• Consultant level experience.
• GMC registration.
• Efficiency in teamwork and superior communication skills.
• Leadership and Management Skills.
